The Archaeologist:
Talk to the Willy Wegner in the Golden Pick Axe in Minoc. He has been robbed and needs help recovering his logbook. In return he will give a great reward for miners to use.
You need GM mining or better to use the reward but you may need good fighting skills to earn it.
I delivered the logbook and he gave me a reward bag with brushes and another book in it. He said to search the sand by the ruins. Am I supposed to "use" (double click the book) and what ruins?

Hello Oxican,
If I remember right it is the ruins of the Malas desert Pyramid. But I did it a long time ago and I not guaranty the location...

it must be broken because i try to use brush right next to pyramid all around it and a few steps away from it all around and many steps away all around and I constantly get this message "you cant dig here"

The Area for the brush to work is not massive but it does run in the sand in a place parallel with the pyramid and not too far away

I got the quest and he told me I needed to go to Buc's Den, but I don't know what to do once I got there... I killed just about everything I could find and nothing... So I'm not sure what I was supposed to do.
** I figured it out, I just had not killed enough of the Graverobbers. the quest item eventually dropped. **

Yes *smiles* We have to be honest . . this is a quest that was developed by someone else that we brought in with the (forgotten) intention of sweetening up. To answer your question . . at the moment . . an embarrassing assortment: Bone Pile, Bone, RibCage, Dice, Sextant Parts, Fishing Pole, Flour Sifter, Plate, Cards, Pewter Mug, Barrel Hoops, Scissors, Fork, Knife, Chessmen, Bottle, Barrel Tap, Spoon. It is long past time for the gods to blow away some of the desert sand so the deeper more interesting relics might be found. This will happen within the next few days to a week. Bottom line . . now on the 'HDL' *grins* Thank you for raising this question. |

Awesome, I've been doing the quest and have been getting all the stuff you mentioned. I was hoping there was some interesting items, I'll wait for the Gods to blow away some of the desert sand.

I don't think your list is exhausted . . . ive dug up marble statues (really tall ones!), hanging chainmail (this is cool), shields (although the description tag on these is lacking) and vases. Most of what ive got has been "junk" as per your current list so a refresh will be nice :-) |
