Yes it is a rumor at this point but it may not bode well if true.
If you read the Elven story under the 'Guide' section of our main Website then you may remember:
Lolindir (Dark Heart) rules the Drow land of Heartwood. Lolindir and his followers have been keeping the great Dragons (the Golds and the Blacks) while he searches for the lost Elessar Culnamo (Book of Dragons) to become a dragon rider. We have all feared that one day the Drow might learn how to ride their Dragons.
Well . . the rumor has it that the lost Elessar Culnamo (Book of Dragons) has been found and the Drow are training their Dragons to carry riders.
We cannot say how long it will be before Drow Dragons carry their masters but we should learn more in the very near future.
UPDATE (June 06, 2021):
Good progress has been made with the Drow Dragons. The end result will require a 'Patch' so to sweeten the pot, that will also allow us to bring in over 50 new items which will sweeten things for Fishermen, Treasure Hunters and Crafters.

I am hoping to have this running live before June 12, 2021 (the day I get my 2nd Covid shot) if all goes well. The bulk of it is finished but I still have four aspects to sort out then do some testing and it will all be done. Cheers |

Yesterday I hunted in drow forest for a drow egg. I died a lot cause the guardians are tough but I killed three and got lucky for an egg.
Here is what I found. Guardians drop a book and an egg. The egg takes a while to be hatched. 20 minutes I guess. I took the egg and hatched it in Arete swamp and made him fight swammy. I also wnt down the sinkhole there to fight the magic casting swammy for skill gain.
My new hatched pet needed around 40k expeirince points to go to next stage. then needed around 100k for next stage then around 250k for next stage then 600k for next then around 1.5 million for next then around 3.5 million for final stage. All this training took about 12 hours with me macroing great heal spells on him. It might be faster but i went to bed and we both died.
Now i got a black drow dragon that I can ride. His fighting got him to 120 on three skills and he is over 110 on rest. He has 2429 hitpoints and hits in the 38 to 42 range and he takes 6 follow slots. Now I just need to take him out for real hunts and see how it goes but he is cool to ride.

The information you reveal is pretty accurate but I could say . . . look around . . . there is something else in the Drow world you may have missed. *smiles* |

I took my dragon to arate swamp and fought Swammy. Then I went into the sinkhole and fought the one on other side then repeat. I use razor macro to cast Great Heal and loop for my pet health

This all sounds very interesting . . . . congrats on the new pet Bran. Can you share a pic? Bran asked me if I would post some screen shots for him. I do not intend doing this for folks but Tauriel requested it and Bran had trouble responding. So . . here are the are the shots he took (cropped). The screen grabs are of him with a Drow Dragon and a Drow Drake in tow. I use razor macro to cast Great Heal and loop for my pet health did a test on this for any one interested, it seems to average about 100k EXP per kill on the Swampster (From 1.5 mill to 2.4 mill that is, i'll update if that changes) |
