Depending on his spawn location, there is a chance that the quest will work. That doesn't mean that the glitch still doesn't exist. I have seen him spawn in 4 different locations inside Doom. 2 out of the 4 locations will allow you to complete the quest. Amairgen is aware.

Are we sure it's not his Vengeful Spirit attacking him? That could count as help from others....
maybe just removing the solo requirement is all it needs.

what is it with vengeful spirit, i guess it is different since i use vampiric embrace, the revenant usually doesnt attack me and sometimes attacks its owner ?

Vengeful Spirit and Animate dead when used by a monster/enemy ends up turning on them for some reason.
it dont think is has anything to do with Vampiric Embrace.

Negative. I have been on duty all weekend. I haven't tried it since Amairgen posted that this quest should be fixed. I will give it a try sometime Monday and or Tuesday. Also, he has only ever summoned a vengeful spirit on me a handful of times and I always immediately dispelled before it gets a chance to turn on Wickerman. So I dont think that. Ancient Song Book for the win

It could be a possibility. But before when Wickerman wasn't working, even if the Revenant didn't attack him and was dispelled it still wouldn't work. I just did the quest twice and I was able to complete it both times. Then again I got both spawn locations that previously already worked for me. I'll do it again tomorrow and hopefully get the other spawn locations that weren't working

Honestly the Druid gear is still going to be weak unless we get some better gems. Everything else should be on hold untill Gems no longer add usless stats.
Considering the Arti gear is our end game gear. and only Gems can go on artifacts. wouldent it make sence to have end game stats on the gems?
As of right now because of certain stats and bonses we have a lot of useless artifacts. Some are much better while others end up weaker than a GM leather set..

I asked Amairgen about when he will update the gems. He said right now he is working on a new quest "Poison bow". After that he will look at the gems and hope it will be easy to change them. He hopes it wont involve 500 scripts to change.

Would every Artifact Script need re-writing? or could the 7 gems just be changed?

Addressing the Gemmed versions of the Artifacts 'will not' involve editing all Enhanceable artifact scripts. Because people are interested I did a count.
If it is possible to achieve what is being asked it will involve reworking 559 scripts. I do not mind doing that if the result is good for the community . . just bear in mind that will involve several weeks *I don't work 9-5, I have a wife/life and I don't get paid*
The first thing that needs testing is . . rework a few on a test basis to see if the changes force the Server to delete all existing similar items. If that happens there could be some backlash from the community who are happy with what they have. I am not saying that items would get deleted or that people will care . . just stating facts.
Meanwhile . . This project is on my list *as stated several times on messages and conversations in game. However as also stated . . I have several other things I need to get done for us first. I am wide open to new suggestions and new ideas on previously requested topics but appreciate your patience regarding timelines.
Also . . this is a Thread regarding the 'Druid Quest'. Where possible . . it is helpful to keep discussions in threads that relate specifically their own topic.

I've been threw the Quest 12 times now and it's been working flawlessly.
Wickerman's defense and health pool are at a good margin but his stamina / movement speed could be increased. My biggest concern is how often I get no armor piece and just bandages/coin inside the reward bag.
The rewards are random and we sill usually need multiple pieces to finish the item.
There being a slight chance that you end up getting nothing needs to change.
*Completing any quest should quarantine a reward.* - Ok so for how simple the quest can be the rewards are well above average thus having it not reward a gear piece every time is not that big of a deal in this situation because it's rewarding Harden Quality Armor so less pieces will be needed in the long run

There is a 40% chance for an item of armor then, There is a 36% chance for an item of clothing then, there is a 33% chance for an weapon.
It is possible to end up with all three, only two, only one or nothing.
All three potential drops are tested separately so it is like you ave three chances at a Druid item each time through.
In addition to those chances . . you will always be rewarded with Gold and Tradium.
