is that Mickey D's, why are the books of translocation so much, and high priced armor set and only item that has self repair is one that never loses it and the armor isnt medable and no mana regen on anything, so dont plan on casting any spells, no stamina regen either, plan on not being able to move and dying. Am I wrong?
Producing armor of even that quality is quite expensive and time consuming. This set is not supposed to be your end game gear but rather something to help you get to that end game gear. It's a samphire suit so isn't really aimed at mages. None of the jewelry is crafted so the specs you mention could be addressed there...I just didn't have anything better to put with it. But if there is something you'd rather have, please let me know and I'll do my best to put it out there for you. Alk already does the mage suits so I thought I'd put some heavier armor out there for anyone that might be interested in it. It's just a test. It's costing me an arm and a leg for the vendor so I might not continue it. I see a lot of posts about gold sinks. That tells me that, for non crafters (adventurers), gold is not an issue. For me, as a crafter, gold is not so easy to come by, thus my prices. I know you are crafting as well, so if my prices are too high for you, I'm sure you'll make your own at some point. This brings me back to my comments about pocket crafters. If recipes can be bought from the system, crafting becomes a side line for every player and craftable goods have very low value. Meaning....you must be an adventurer!
Having the high price stuff drains your vendors funds. mine currently cost 3k a day also do some cheaper armor sets tho because at first glance that 300k is pricy. over all is a great suit that comes with an arti katana. new players however will be heavily discouraged at anything costing more than a basic house deed.
I know what you mean. I was a little worried about the high price, but it was pretty difficult to produce. A lot of resources went into it. I know it's not up to end game gear but with the specs it has, I think it's a pretty good suit. I'm surprised no one has commented on the Luck it has on it.
All the recipes continue to drop (randomly) for free in the safe to do Crafter Quests. If w Warrior/Mage etc wants a specific item crafted maybe they will help pay for the recipe. I know this is probably not always the best solution.
